In this segment, originally aired December 3, 2014, we are in the studio making a gingerbread house from scratch. This stove top method is a straight forward recipe to make your own dough, and doesn't require the use of a mixer. Tinted royal icing in a stucco finish gives your New Mexico gingerbread house an authentic texture. Piped royal icing ristras, pretzel vigas, caramel luminarias and the signature turquoise door finishes your house!
